Girasol Quartz is a variety of quartz that has a milky sheen almost opalescence to it which is caused by Aluminum content in Clear Quartz. It has also been called Moon Quartz, Pearl Quartz, and Blue Opal Quartz for its milky color. Its name is derived from the Latin gyrare, "to turn" and sol for "sun". Girasol Quartz is a stone of communication helping you to speak your thoughts. It also is said to be an aid to creativity.
